PHYSIOTHERAPY
Physiotherapy that takes you from injured to performance.

What separates Cast Iron Rehab from what you normally think of as physiotherapy is that we use a "return to play" or "return to performance" model.

What is a return to performance model and what makes it different from normal physiotherapy?

Rehab and returning to performance is the same as any strength and conditioning program: you have a problem, a goal and a timeline. Where normal physiotherapy seeks to diagnose the problem they don’t take you through the training/rehab process in the same way you would with a strength and conditioning coach or personal trainer. From our initial consultation we will look to diagnose the problem and relate it back to your training goals. We will then take you through the rehabilitation process step by step. Showing you the key exercises and interventions while guiding you through and adapting your program to make sure you have the right exercise selection, load, volume and intensity to ensure you are going to make the quickest, most successful and robust return to performance possible.

Our goal is to make ourselves irrelevant as quickly as possible and to empower you to make a full return to performing at your best.

The goal from the very first consultation is to show you solutions. We use an evidence-based approach where we seek to employ effective methods to rehabilitate you to performance. We want to give you the confidence you need to get back to full fitness with you safe in the knowledge that the problem that caused your injury is not going to be an ongoing problem going forward, and will get you not only returning to training but return to training being able to push yourself harder and better with the knowledge that you have addressed the underlying problems rather than treated it with placebos.
We Specialise in Sports Physiotherapy for athletes and active people, at all ages, but also have significant experience with non-sporting populations and those recovering post-orthopaedic surgery.
